Training launches during Mental Health Awareness Week
Following the successful launch last year of the ZSA’s updated Suicide Awareness and Prevention Training—made possible through funding from our charity and support from NHS Charities Together—we’re proud to announce the launch of the ZSA’s new Social Isolation and Loneliness Training. This vital initiative is once again funded by our charity, with continued support from NHS Charities Together.
The new Social Isolation and Loneliness Training will go live on the ZSA website on Monday 12 May and will replace the training launched during the Covid-19 pandemic.
To accompany the training, the ZSA is running a webinar on two dates during Mental Health Awareness Week to support the launch and discuss social isolation, loneliness and the importance of community and connection.
This is a free event, although donations are welcome towards our ZSA appeal.
Each person who joins will receive a recording of the training, a booklet and certificate.
