Fundraising in the Workplace

Support our work, at your work, in a way that works for you

How can my workplace make a difference?

Your workplace can make a positive difference in our work through choosing Mersey Cares as their Charity of the Year, nominating staff to take part in our challenges or by hosting an event of your own with your employees.

Our charity team works constructively with businesses to further engage and inspire employees and customers and further maximising your social value within our communities. Contact us today to talk through shared values and form strategic partnerships that work for you.

Make Mersey Cares your charity of the year

If your workplace chooses a charity to support for the year, you can nominate or choose our Mersey Care NHS Charity to help us raise awareness and essential funds that allow us to do more good.

Nominate colleagues to take on a fundraising challenge

From abseiling to skydiving through to marathons, you can nominate willing employees to take part in a fundraising challenge and support them on their mission to raise essential funds. Employees with a challenge in mind can secure their place directly at an upcoming challenge event or can register at one of Mersey Cares' organised events Once registered, contact our charity team to let us know and access support and resources.

Donate through your business

You can donate to Mersey Cares via BACS.  Simply contact us at charity@merseycare.nhs.uk for further details.

Host a fundraiser at your workplace

Increasingly, businesses are demonstrating their support to local charitable causes and helping to make a positive contribution within their communities.  Supporting Mersey Cares will allow us to tackle the social and structural barriers that can get in the way of good health.

Through previous funds, the charity has been able to fund a support group for Young Onset Dementia, implemented patients’ sensory gardens and rooms and enabled interactive workshops to create space for children and young people to write about their experiences after COVID-19.

With NHS services and its workforce facing increasing challenges, we want our Mersey Care NHS Charity to continue to support innovative projects, new facilities and developments which would not be normally within the NHS’ scope to further serve the health needs of our communities.

Subscribe to support us through Pennies from Heaven

Once subscribed, employees simply opt-in to donate their pennies from their payslip to Mersey Cares, the most ever being 99p per pay packet. You can explore more, subscribe and select ‘Mersey Cares NHS Charity’ as your beneficiary over on the Pennies from Heaven website.
