London to Paris Cycle 2025

Raise funds for Zero Suicide Alliance by taking part in Global Adventure's London to Paris Bike Ride; an awesome cycling challenge and by far one of the best fundraising events in Europe, attracting hundreds of riders each year and raising thousands of pounds for charities nationwide.

You'll spend 4 days in the saddle, cycling from capital to capital. The journey begins in London, with the route taking us through glorious English countryside as you cycle from Kent to Dover, before crossing the Channel and continuing through the rolling green fields of Northern France, where you pass the war memorials and cemeteries of the Somme. A spectacular finish awaits us as you reach the home stretch around the Arc de Triomphe and down the Champs Elysées, before reaching the pièce de résistance, the Eiffel Tower, which marks your finish line.

What's included?

Inclusive of one way ferry crossing from Dover to Calais, one way Eurostar ticket from Paris to London, 4 nights hotel accommodation, all meals including celebratory dinner, refreshment stops including water, fruit and a variety of snacks/energy bars/cereal bars every 15-20 miles cycled approx., back up and support vehicles, route markers or cycle guides, other professional Global Adventure Challenges Event Crew including experienced Event Manager responsible for the delivery of the challenge, mechanic vehicle support (basic spare bike parts will be taken), comprehensive first aid / medical kits, Challenge Medal, route guide for each participant and GAC 24 hour emergency on call team.

Supporting Zero Suicide Alliance

Sadly, more than 6,000 people in the UK die by suicide every year. We want this to change as we believe one life lost to suicide is one too many.  We want to empower, equip, and educate individuals and organisations to support suicide awareness and prevention through ZSA's free online training and resources.

We want to raise awareness of suicide, challenge stigma and make suicide prevention something everyone feels they can get involved in.

Funding in 2024 has already allowed our Mersey Care NHS Charity to launch the redevelopment of ZSA's Online Suicide Awareness Training - a short, free, online course that can be taken by anyone who wants to learn basic suicide awareness and prevention skills. Within the first month of launching, 20,000 people had already completed this training.

With your donations we can continue to deliver free, accessible training opportunities so more people can learn vital skills and confidence to talk to someone struggling with suicidal thoughts

By donating to our fund, you support this zero suicide ambition and help us to:

  1. Develop and deliver new training opportunities for targeted communities
  2. Help us to support people to recognise what action they can take to support suicide awareness and prevention
  3. Help us to continue our research, develop and maintain accessible digital suicide data tools
  4. Help us to keep the conversation going, sharing the knowledge and skills, and grow the nation’s confidence to talk about suicide and challenge stigma

The Zero Suicide Alliance is an initiative hosted by Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust and charitably funded via Mersey Cares NHS Charity (charity registration number: 1191576).

What’s the upfront cost?

Global Adventures ask you to pay a registration fee of £149 at the time of booking.

How much am I expected to fundraise?

Global Adventures ask you to raise a minimum of £1,900 by the 18th June 2025. This supports the full challenge cost with Global Adventures directly and raises essential funds for ZSA.

Upon gaining your sponsorship, the charity is then invoiced the full challenge experience amount (£950)  and so all funds raised above £950 will be going directly to ZSA!

How do I set up a fundraising page?

You can simply set up your fundraising page here - this will set you up your own individual fundraising page in aid of ZSA; you are also able to join teams should you wish to do this challenge as a group. Although you can set up your very own Just Giving page too!
